About me
I am a multimedia journalist from Southern California. I am currently studying to earn my master's degree from USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism by May 2024.

At USC, I hold editor positions at two news desks in our student newsroom. I am an editor for Dímelo, our Latinx-focused desk, as well as for LA School Report, a desk that focuses on covering LA Unified.

Apart from editing, I continue to write for our print, television and radio outlets. I've covered the 2024 Primary Election, the ever-evolving way journalists cover climate change, the local blood supply shortage, and more.

Before attending USC, I was a local reporter at the Press-Enterprise/Southern California News Group. I was covering local cities between Norco, CA and Temecula, CA, as well as the school districts in these areas.
Before that, I worked for City News Service in Los Angeles and freelanced on the side, writing articles, shooting photos, and creating videos for several publications including CALÓ NEWS.
In 2022, I interned at Los Angeles Magazine, managing story budgets and writing articles that catered to L.A.'s diverse community. I also interned for EdSource, collaborating with other reporters on integral educational reporting.

Through multimedia journalism, I aim to tell impactful stories that inform the public and document important moments. I want to tell diverse stories and amplify the voices of the communities that I cover.
